A constantly changing pattern or sequence of objects or elements. A continually changing pattern of shapes and colors. The mixture of many different things.



As the name suggests, we are a team of many different things, and as the name suggests, we are never the same thing. Confused yet? Anywho, you should know that this team cannot be defined as just one thing because we will never be just "one thing." Do you know how boring it would be for us to be just "one thing"? This team would not exist. I created this team one day when I had a vision. That vision is simply this: I want Kaleidoscope to grow into something more than just a social network or a Forum. I want it to become a place that people can call "home." I intend for people to walk through the door and WANT to check out Kaleidoscope because of people they may end up connecting with. I want people nearby to meet and become connected through Kaleidoscope. No, I am not saying this is a dating site or anything like that. Through Kaleidoscope, people with similar interests can bond and together, we can do something great for people out there in need of a spark in their life. Isn't that something everyone is searching for? Well, I hope they can begin to find it here in the form of a family, friends, or comrades. Whatever title they choose to use. My name is Hei, and I am the leader of Team Kaleidoscope. You may not see much of me, mainly because of how consistently busy I am working on Kaleidoscope. But I hope that through this welcome, I can help you feel like you belong here.

At the moment, we are rebuilding. The reason being that over the month of December I stopped all recruitment and began kicking people out once they reached the maximum number of allowable inactive days. It wasn't a pretty sight for the team as we went from about 150 members all the way to down 40 members. But, it was good because I was able to see which members were actually active by the end of the month.

Then, as the new year began, I resumed recruiting new members and... that's how YOU got here. We are making significant progress as you can plainly tell, but the problem is, not everyone will enjoy this team and the rules we have here. Likewise, not everyone here will be able to remain active and most likely, they will be kicked. That's okay though because as they're removed, they will easily be replaced and Kaleidoscope will live on. I call this the "circle of life." With a life gone, another takes its place. Wow, I guess when I think about it, I COULD say what the Avengers' Hydra says, "Cut off one head, two more take its place." That's rather cool, isn't it?

So, why am I telling you all of this? Because I want you to know what you're getting into before I go on to explain about Skype and the Forums. There is a lot to go through, but that is okay because ONCE AGAIN, can you imagine how boring it would be if I DIDN'T have anything to explain? There's a lot of cool things for you to see.



Let's begin, shall we? With the Welcome section of the forums. You should already know about this because it's where you are reading this text. This is where people come to introduce themselves to the team. If you look into the "Veteran Members" folder, you can get to know some of the older members who've committed themselves to the idea: Kaleidoscope. Next, we have the Team Council. It's nothing for you to worry about. THAT IS, unless you become a topic. Yes, it is as it sounds. It is the place where "cases" take place. It may seem empty but do not be fooled. Skype is a powerful tool. The Team Council is made up of me, my three executives and my Commanders. Together, we discuss issues that have come to affect Kaleidoscope, whether they are events, objects or people. The Team Council chooses the penalty for infractions and the team's direction. Once again, you won't have to bother yourself with this unless you somehow become a Commander or even an Executive. The "Structure" part of the Forums is under work. We just haven't had time to complete the section. Maybe if you have some great ideas, you can share them with us in the Suggestions area of the Forums. I'll get to that in a bit. Then we have the Events Forum. It's where the "Events of Kaleidoscope" are scheduled. As of right now, we are in the Finals of the Crimson Tournament and once that's finished, a new tournament will begin within PokeMMO. Although, the events don't NEED to take place there. They can be held in other games such as Aura Kingdom, Lord of the Rings Online, Pokemon Pro or even in Forum Roleplaying.



We also have a lot of games we can play within PokeMMO like Capture the Flag or King of the Hill. Yes, we have found ways to make these games a reality. If you want more information, check out our Events Section. The Shop is the "Kaleidoscope Market." It's where players can go to exchange, sell or buy Pokemon, items or even to directly trade money. It is as it sounds and can be a pretty exciting spot if you're looking for resources to help you throughout the game. Speaking of which, you should know that we do have two banks of Kaleidoscope. One having to do with Events and another having to do with loans for Pokemon, items and clothes in PokeMMO. Following down the list, we also have The School. This section is setup for you to come look up guides about PokeMMO and various other "Team Games." But, it is mostly PokeMMO guides. The Seventh Heaven is the "fun room." Many different topics take place there and if you're looking for entertainment or a good laugh, take a look through and see if there is anything that may excite you. In the next big section of the Forums, I will begin explaining about becoming a Gym Leader or an Elite Four within Team Kaleidoscope. The first thing you should know is that it is NOT an easy feat to obtain either spot.



The second thing you should know about the Gym Leaders and Elite Four is that you must have all eight badges of Kanto and Hoenn, plus you must have defeated the Elite Four of Kanto and Hoenn. This will ensure us of your strength and will make it that much more exciting when you come to take the challenge to become a Gym Leader or an Elite Four. I will not explain what the tasks are as they will be a surprise for later if you so wish to take the challenge. In the next big section of the Forums is the OUT OF GAME section. All of this is out of game material and it is there if you ever want to take your mind off of the game and wanna do something else. The first on our list is the Out of Game Chat where many discussions take place. That being popular is the "Hei Topics". Are you ever bored? Nothing to watch on television? NO WORRIES. Kaleidoscope TV has your back with plenty to watch there! We have the Horror Channel, Comedy Channel, Animal Planet, Documentaries and movie trailers of the best coming out in 2016!!! Next is Skype Chat where you will see many videos of the Team screwing around on the camera for the enjoyment of others. The Suggestions Forums are for the members if they ever have any great ideas for Team Kaleidoscope. For each idea, they will be discussed within the Council and will be decided upon there and whatever the decision, we will let you know. The Anniversary Hall only takes place once a year. If you wanna go back and see the messages left behind in the past, feel free but prepare for some tears. The Admin Discussion is as it sounds. It's for the admins of the Forums only. Nothing to see here...anywho! On to the next topic! The next thing we have to talk about is a hot place!



This next area is for WRITERS ONLY. If you're a writer, feel free to take a gander at this hot location. The Fan Fiction is where writers come to display their stories for the amusement of the team. There are a lot of good stories going on like "Redemption" and "Pokemon: The Rise of Dragonlords!" I won't tell you what the stories are about because NO SPOILERS. Next is the Roleplaying Section. AGAIN, HOT location. This is where writers get together to create a story together. There is a lot of numbers that go into it, but once you get into the groove, it's actually very easy to do. Right now, we have two roleplays running. "Pokemon: The Shadow of Today" and "Final Fantasy: Time Compression". These are both pretty popular right now as we had a vote on it to see what roleplays would occur. Of course, Pokemon was a winner among them, but it seems Final Fantasy is another popular in the Team. The next section is for all of the artists out there if you love to draw! Come to the Fan Art section and share with all of us your great works of art! No judgments here in Team Kaleidoscope! The last part of the forums is for out of game gamers delight. If you are a huge gamer, check out these three sections. Gamers Guide has topics about a little other few games that we have gone into as a team. In Games Corner, we discuss other games we can play and other fun activities that could be fun for everyone. The "Let's Play!" section can be pretty fun if you're ever bored. Right now, a popular game to be played through is Pokemon and Final Fantasy VII. Check it out if you ever want to be part of anything.

There is a Shoutbox on the side of the forums that you can speak to us through if you can't seem to get a hold of us any other way. You can send us private messages through our profiles or you can get on Skype with us. Skype is a valuable tool to Team Kaleidoscope and it has helped us communicate better as a team. Yes, we know there is always Team Speak but yeah, fuck that. Skype is better anyways. On Skype, we have a chat group of just about anything you need. We have a main Team Chat, we have Roleplay chats where we talk about the Roleplays and of course, there is the Team Council that takes place on Skype. Well, that's all I have to explain to you. From here, I hope you find a place in your heart for this team and we all hope to see great things from you. I know as a beginner, it may seem discouraging, but you should know that I, as your leader, have complete faith in you, I believe in you. Why is that? Because I believe in everyone that joins Team Kaleidoscope. What kind of leader would I be if I couldn't do something as simple as believing in others? It may seem hard to understand at times due to my initial attitude towards things, but trust me, the feeling is there and if you're around long enough, maybe, just maybe, you'll get a glimpse of it. So now I will take my leave and I hope that this warm welcome has brought a new light into yourself to do great things for yourself and the Team.
